FROGINWELL VINEYARD
By day, the traditionally restored 1903 Traction Engine has provided the unique backdrop for many wedding ceremonies, and then by night, is transformed into the heart of the party – complete with glitterball!
Following the ceremony, guests are encouraged to spill out onto the oak framed decked terrace and beautifully maintained lawns, where any children (and adults if they wish!) can run free in a safe and protected environment.
When it’s time to eat, guests make their way through to the oak beamed reception area which is filled with natural light. With plenty of space to seat 120, the bride and groom can clearly keep an eye on everyone in their party!
THE OAK BARN
The Oak Barn is actually two connected barns, one an eighteenth century granary converted to a stunning hall with traditional oak cruck trusses, the second a 19th century barn which has been converted to a reception room, kitchen and accommodation (three bedrooms all en suite). The conversion has been undertaken to the highest standards using oak from the farm and traditional building methods.
The Oak Barn is a beautiful wedding venue in a historic Devon farmstead situated within beautiful rural surroundings, with endless photo opportunities.
This is a 'Venue Only' so couples can organise a unique wedding with the suppliers of their choice. The owners (John & Catherine) are on site throughout to give advice and assistance if needed. Weddings here tend to be family orientated and are relaxed and happy affairs.
BRICKHOUSE VINEYARD
The recently renovated 18 Century Round House sits within 20 acres of vineyards, fields, organic gardens and woodland, providing exclusive venue hire for both corporate events and private hire. The adaptable inside-space and landscaped terrace both have stunning views over the vineyards to the countryside and coast beyond, making any kind of event held here extra special. The doors on the Round House open right up, creating a unique inside/outside feel. There’s plentiful parking and we can recommend transport and accommodation if required.
HIGHER EGGBEER
Higher Eggbeer Farm is one of the most unique and versatile wedding venues in the South West, with rustic charm that oozes from every nook and cranny, especially the barn.
You can plan your wedding day yourselves, giving you complete freedom over caterers, bands, size of marquee if needed and everything else. Eggbeer has a very relaxed atmosphere, so for those of you who want something more than the more traditional wedding and would like something different this venue is ideal.
Camping with views across the beautiful Dartmoor countryside is available for guests while you relax in the self catering farmhouse.
COLEHAYES PARK
Colehayes Park, Bovey Tracey is the perfect venue for those looking for somewhere relaxed to extend their wedding celebrations over a long weekend or whole week (rather than a single day).
Not only is the house a fully licensed wedding venue, but can also sleep up to 70 guests in the Manor and a further 11 in Cork Tree Cottage.
This offers a unique opportunity for guests to enjoy the company of family and friends for a longer period of time and in a more intimate setting.
Colehayes Park is a unique DIY wedding venue which means that you have the choice and freedom to create your own perfectly individual wedding bringing in any of your preferred suppliers.

The owner's home is nearby, so they are on hand as much or as little as you require, available at a few moments notice if necessary.
